The Big jump!!

Thinking about jumping.. I'm going to do it!No turning back now...All the way in..And back up..YAY Ryan! You finally conquered your fear! You jumped off the diving board!!! WOO HOO!

How to fry an egg.

With this incredibly hot weather, Ryan and I decided to do an experiment. We went outside and cracked an egg on the street. We just wanted to see what would happen. So I went back and periodically took a picture of the egg. I tried to take a picture every hour, but honestly some of the times were stretched a little longer then an hour..here it is..in pictures.

The last picture I took wasn't on my computer, as I took it last night after I had already downloaded my pictures. I will try to add it after. Needless to say the egg cooked a little, but not nearly enough to eat.

Sprinkler Time!!

The other day it was really hot outside, and since the liner in our pool is ripped there is no way to cool off. Dan decided to bring out the sprinkler and let the kids have fun running through and splashing around. Ryan LOVED it. He ran through and got squirted in the face several times. Lilly on the other hand was a little more apprehensive. She was unsure if she liked it or not. Of course because it was the hose, the water was freezing cold. We finished off the day with sharing some cherries outside, first time for both my kids. They both LOVED them!

A New Look

I have been missing from the blogging world for a couple months now, so I thought it was about time that I get back into it. I know that some of you do actually enjoy reading it, and catching up with the kids. So here it is, to motivate me I have revamped the whole blog. Changed the background, and the header picture. I will try to get back into it and start posting on a regular basis now. So, follow along if you like. I welcome any and all comments, in fact I like them!! Hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoy sharing my kids with you all!

Taking Off..

2:30am came very early on the morning we were set to board the plane and head to Iowa. We were all SO excited to get there. And the kids did a WONDERFUL job getting up and ready to go. We boarded the plane about 1am, but not before we watched a little tv in the airport and checked out the planes.
We flew with Air Tran, an airline I had never heard of. But they were wonderful, on the way out. We landed in Minneapolis about a half hour ahead of schedule.

Although all of us had been up since 2:30ish, once we got to Minnesota we went to the much anticipated Lego store!!! I think that was Ryans favorite part of the whole trip.

Love Bugs

This picture started out nice..then turned into a tackling love fest..I ♥ my kids!

Sick at Home

This past week has been a little crazy. We have had a lot of croupe going around. Ryan and Lil were home sick for two days. Ry wanted me to show you what he spent his time at home doing. Once he finished this one he tried challenging himself to see how many across on the bottom he could get. Would you like to see how big he got it?
Impressed? ;)

Disney on Ice: Let's Celebrate!

This year we decided to go again to see Disney on Ice. Last year we saw one with Cars in it. This year we went to Let's Celebrate. It was a year of celebrations with the Disney cast. Something new this year? We decided to bring Lillian with us. We thought we were getting better seats this year..turns out they were worse. We usually sit on the side and have the stadium seating. This time we were on the floor. With a gazillion people in front of us and no room to breathe. After the first half we got fed up and moved out seats to a more comfortable section were no one was sitting. Ry and Lil were much happier with more room to stretch out. We had a great time once we were settled. Lillys favorite was Minnie Mouse and Ryan said he just liked the whole thing!! I have put up some pics for all to enjoy.

My New Socks!

Lillian got a new pair of socks recently. She is very proud to show them off. She walked around like this for about an hour after putting them on for the first time.
As most of you know, my daughter is a Winnie the Pooh freak. So it was only fitting that I find some Pooh socks.

Skating Party

Our Cub Scout Pack held their annual Roller Skating party last night. I was a little iffy on if it was even going to be worth bringing Ryan. I really thought he would be hesitant to get out there and try skating. He put on those skates, and went right onto the floor and starting skating with the rest of the pack. Ry was very careful at first, hugging the wall..but then got up the courage to go around the circle away from the wall. He did a WONDERFUL job and I was so proud!! :)

Family

So nice to see all the family together. Although the cicumstances were not great, it was to see us all together. This was the only pic I got of all of us together. Nice to see you all!

SQUID DOGS!!

So I was reading in my Family Fun magazine about some fun lunch ideas for kids. For lunch on Monday I was up for an experiment. I decided to make "squid dogs". Ryan loved it!! He thought it was the coolest thing, and quickly was thinking of other ways to make a different version of squid dogs. Here is the recipe

I give up!

I have officially given up, already, on Project 365. With those couple days that I was out and about with family, and celebrating Grampys life I lost track of time and forgot to take pics. SO I will be starting again..but not sure when. I will let you all know when I do!

Project 365

I have started a project at home that is called Project 365. This is something that you have to take one picture a day for 365 days in a row. This will give you a chance to see your life in pictures when you are done. I am starting my days with pictures of my kids. If any of you know me, you know that probably most of my pics will be of my kids. Because they are such good, and willing subjects. As the year goes on I hope to get more creative. So here it is, Day 1 Photo. Lillian is LOVING this pink cowgirl hat lately. Just look at that face! ok, so I cheated a little. This is what I am using for day 2. I couldn't pass it up, and I didn't think it was a bad thing to double up on the pics. Day 3..Lillian trying to shoot her little Nerf gun.Day 4. Daddy actually took this one. Say CHEESE Lilly!
Look for more pics soon! :)

Target Practice

Around our house now a days, you must take cover upon entering. Santa brought Ryan and Lilly Nerf guns for Christmas. It is now constant chaos around here. There are ALWAYS Nerf "bullets" flying around our heads. I got out of the shower the other day and got bombarded with them upon leaving the bathroom. So, next time you set foot into the Freeman household please beware! This is your one and only warning! :)
